Darleen
L. Severson, 80, of Reedsburg, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Meriter
Hospital in Madison. Darleen
was born on July 30, 1938 in Baraboo, the daughter of Arthur and Ann (Smith)
Howard. On March 17, 1965 she married Leo Severson at First Presbyterian Church
in Baraboo. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1981. Darleen
was a sports fan of automobile racing and enjoyed watching her nephew race at
Wisconsin Dells Raceway. Survivors
include her brother and sister, Lee (Nancy) Howard of Baraboo and Barbara
(Victor) Moon of Wisconsin Rapids; and other relatives and friends. In
addition to her husband and parents, Darleen was preceded in death by a son,
Steven Wolf in 2005; twin sister, Doris Scott in 2006; sister, Betty Cook in
2015; and a brother-in-law, Mervin Cook in 2017. A celebration of her life
will take place at a later date and time. Baldwin Funeral Services is assisting
the family with arrangements.
