Jason
Roger Johnson, 43, of Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 12,
2019. He
was born on May 7, 1976 in McHenry, Illinois the son of William Kidd and
Colleen Nist. Jason
was well known for his ability to repair almost anything that needed fixing. He
was always willing to help anyone out in their time of need. He will always be
remembered for the way he lived his life to the fullest through the simple
pleasures of family and friends. Jason
had a heart of gold and the love he had for his family will forever be
cherished. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. Survivors
include his sons, Jakori Johnson, Marquez and Kortez Jackson; daughter, Kaitlyn
Nelson; brothers and sisters, Tracy (Ken) Engel, Aaron (Alicia) Nist, Kendra
(Gwydion) Snowdon, Megan (Christopher) Wilke, Kelsey Kidd; six nieces; 11
nephews; and longtime friend, Jason Edwards. Jason
was preceded in death by his father, William Kidd. Memorial services will be
held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at New Life Community Advent Christian
Church, 1919 Elizabeth St., Baraboo, with Pastor Jesse Stevens officiating.
Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 3 p.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. A luncheon will follow the memorial services at Northshore Restaurant, S5718 Hwy 123, Baraboo. Baldwin Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
