Following service in the Army, Rocky graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a degree in mechanical engineering. He started as a design engineer with Westinghouse where he obtained several U.S. patents. Later, Rocky became a CT/MRI specialist, introducing the new, sophisticated medical diagnostic machines to the Asia-Pacific region and then the U.S. On August 23, 1961, Rocky married the love of his life, Rosemarie Nosper, the mysterious beauty who had recently emigrated from Köln, Germany. Faith was a senior at Baraboo High School and was active in athletics with volleyball, basketball and cheerleading. She also excelled in academics making the honor roll all four years. Faith had an “outgoing” personality and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She had worked part-time at Oak Park Place, Kwik Trip, Dominos, Culvers, and especially enjoyed working at Jose’s Restaurant, where they were like a second family to her. She will be truly missed by her family and the many people that she touched. Survivors include her father and mother, Justin and Nicole “Racquel” Woods; brother, Aaron; sisters, Destiny, Merci and Glory; niece, Aspyn; nephew, Dustyn; paternal grandparents, Charles (Debbie) Williams and Terry Woods; maternal grandparents, Paul Knowlton and Denise Bennette; three aunts, Vonda, Maggie and Jasmin; cousins, family and many friends. Her parents are Justin Lesley Woods and Nichole “Racquel” Woods, and along with her were her sisters, Destiny Rhiannon, Merci Grace and Glory Dawn. They were all born 2 years apart starting in 2000 to 2006. We were all so close to each other growing up, everything we had we shared together. We grew up with each other and only knowing them. The Woods family grew up in a Christian home believing there is a heaven after we die. Faith always believed in God and he promises he’ll take care of her, and we believe that is true that everything she’s ever wanted and more than she could ever have gotten here is where she is now in heaven. Although it feels like God took her away from us too soon he has better plans for her. And believe she is in a place much more wonderful than anywhere on Earth. Faith believed in God and she felt safe going with him knowing she’d be everyone’s guardian angel up in heaven looking down on us all. Her absence may haunt us here but she’s holding our spots in heaven safe with her. God chose Faith because he knew we all could trust Faith. I want to start this out by saying that this tragedy 😔has completely crushed our entire family. There are no real words to describe how completely lost, devastated and destroyed we are by this and we have had a hard time reaching out to even our closest friends and extended family members. And for that I'm sorry if anyone has hurt feelings, it has just been the hardest thing our family has ever encountered.. But we love you all.. Which leads me to the next thing I have to say. We can not express our gratitude for the absolute outpouring of love and support that we have received from our family, friends and community.. We are blessed to have such supportive, loving and plain generosity that everyone has shown us and we're so grateful how much everyone has honored our beautiful Faith Lael. She was truly such a powerful force in this world .. And we are so proud that she positively impacted so many people around her.. Lastly I Would like to say I love you all and thank you so very much for being patient with us and giving us the time and space we need to try to start processing all of this. God bless The Woods Family

Caroline lived a beautiful, full life and left her joyous stamp on everyone she met. In the course of her 97 years, she would tell you that she had seen it all! She lived on a farm during the depression with her parents and siblings. Affectionately known as “Tommy”, she worked hard on the family farm. Her family was fortunate during the depression, and it was during that time she learned generosity and service to others. The family would share their abundance and go door to door dropping off food and gifts. Throughout her life many benefited by Caroline’s generosity. It was said that if she earned a dollar, she would keep a dime, and would give away 90 cents to someone who needed it more. No one ever went hungry when they visited her home, and there was always room for one more at the table and sometimes 2 or 3 more. Generosity and volunteerism extended throughout her life. Caroline had a passion for driving and cars, and was known for having just a slight lead foot. This love of driving translated into her driving for the Commission on Aging, taking the elderly and sick to their appointments in Madison, until she was 89 years old. Caroline was awarded Sauk County Volunteer of the Year many times. Caroline lived through WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, September 11th, man’s first steps on the moon, TVs, cellphones, PCs, farm innovations, refrigeration, modern washers/dryers, permanent press, and the marvel of the microwave oven. All of which she had opinions and stories. She was a card shark. She played Canasta, Euchre, and Sheepshead with her family and friends, and even at national tournaments. In addition, she was Co-founder and the first President of the Sauk County Women’s Pool League, actively involved in 4-H, taught CYO/CCD at her church for years, and was famous for her homemade pies. Caroline worked very hard in her life, sometimes working 3 jobs. She enjoyed nursing at the Sauk County Health Center and St. Clare Meadows, cooking for the children at Head Start, and even occasionally bartending. Caroline’s calling was being a Mother and homemaker. Her home was always immaculately clean and neat, with people often remarking how they couldn’t believe 10 children lived there. Her children were her priority and she made time in her busy life for each one. She instilled in them, Christian values, the importance of hard work, truth, honesty, respecting your elders, empathy for others, the value in life-long learning, being open-minded, volunteerism and generosity. She did this through laughter, tears, humor, use of a middle name, the words “young lady” or the “motherly glance” that she had perfected. She used her colloquialisms “no hats at the table”, “always break your bread”, “you can always tell a lady by her hands”, and “never judge someone until you’ve walked at least 10 miles in their shoes”. She had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, the neighborhood kids, and her children’s friends. Many would ask if they could be her “honorary” child. The rule was as soon as they could remember everyone’s name - they were a part of the family. Caroline was preceded in death by her late husband, Edwin Griffith; her seven siblings; her sons-in-law, James Baumgarten and Patrick Zimmerman; and infant grandson, Alex Griffith. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 304 East St., Baraboo, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 with Fr. Jay Poster officiating.
