Estelle Mae Stevens

Estelle Mae Stevens, 83, of Reedsburg, formerly of Baraboo, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg.
Estelle was born on Oct. 20, 1933 in Merrimac, one of seven children to James and Clara (Schneider) Hein. She was a 1952 graduate of Baraboo High School and was employed at the Baraboo Industrial Coils Manufacturing Plant. She then provided home child care services in the Baraboo area for many years. Estelle was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Baraboo for over 66 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, bowling, and visiting with family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her seven children, Ann Robinson of Reedsburg, Kim (Jeff) Silvers of Reedsburg, Karen Robinson of Baraboo, Lorri (Tim) Alexander of Madison, Thomas Robinson of Reedsburg, Terri Robinson of Reedsburg, and Rhonda (Tim) Tauber of Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Estelle was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Voiles and Virginia “Ginger” Brimmer; and three brothers, Don, Monroe “Chub” and James “Jim” Hein.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, 416 Ash St., Baraboo, with Pastor Lisa Newberry officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
