Delores J. "Dee" Hinds

Delores J. “Dee” Hinds, 84, of
Baraboo, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at Oak Park Place. Dee was born
on Jan. 29, 1933 in Dubuque, IA., the daughter of Dallas and Olive (Baldwin)
Kohls.
On Nov. 23, 1950, Delores married
Robert Hinds in Dubuque, IA. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed taking
care of her family whom she dearly loved. She also enjoyed baking for her
family and friends and always had a sweet treat for visitors. Dee loved roller
skating, bowling, family get-togethers and traveling across the country in
their small camper. She touched so many lives with her beautiful smile and her
serving heart. Dee raised her family to be strong and lean on each other; to
serve others as Jesus would and not to eat before saying grace.
Survivors include her children, Barbi
(Steven) Hause of Baraboo, daughter- in- law, Jean Hinds, James (Tammy Kasten)
of Baraboo; six grandchildren, Jessica (Shawn) Nicholson, Zachary Campbell,
Joshua Kasten (Delita DeLaCruz), Erin Hinds (Marcus Gonsalves), Jeremy (Kari
Baker) Hause, Jori (Matt) Williams; great-grandchildren, Monica (Alan),
Anthony, Darren, Emily, Gregg, Brianna, Lilus, Tony, Kruze, Brantley, Richard
and Savannah; brother, Richard Kohl and sister, Kay White and other nieces,
nephews relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Dee was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Daniel; granddaughter,
Nicole Hause; two sisters, Helen Deutsch-Pfohl, Joyce Kennicker; one brother,
Robert Kohl; and a very special life-long friend, Nancy Gassen.
A Mass of Christian burial will take
place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church,
Baraboo, with Fr. Jay Poster officiating.
Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of
Mass. A private burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
given to St. Joseph Catholic Church in memory of Dee.
A very special thank you to the Oak
Park angels that became a part of Dee’s family for the last five years, and
Home Health Hospice team for the care given to Dee during her last days.
The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, is
assisting the family with arrangements.
