Maureen Teelin
Maureen Teelin of Baraboo, passed away suddenly on Monday Feb. 3, 2014 due to a brain aneurism. She is with her God and those she loved who passed before her. Maureen was a graduate from Baraboo schools and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in archeology and geography at U.W. La Crosse. Many lives were touched by Maureen in so many ways. Caring, loving and kind are just a few words that describe the very heart and soul of her. Even in death she was “giving.” Maureen was an organ donor so others may live. She is survived by her parents, Terry and Una Teelin; her brother, Tom (Joy) Teelin; sisters, Kelly Teelin and Laura (Doug) Baragar; her companion, Matthew Gumz; and many aunts, uncles, numerous cousins (here in the USA and Ireland), and her many dear friends. She will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Private family services will be held at the Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., in Baraboo. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maureen’s memory may be made to the UW Health Transplant or Organ Donation program at UW Health.org. May God hold you in the palm of his hand until we meet again!
