Sharon Musser

March 30, 2019
Sharon Musser, age 73, of Baraboo, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 with her immediate family and two close family friends by her side. She was born on Feb. 4, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois and on Sept. 26, 1970 she was united in marriage to Richard Musser. In the summer of 1991, Sharon and Rich moved and bought a house in Baraboo. Sharon was a loving mother and incredible grandmother. She loved to be out in nature where she felt closest to God. One of her favorite quotes was, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." Anyone that knows her knew how much she loved to dance. Sharon had a kind and giving soul who participated in the Red Hatters and volunteered her time for various causes, such as the VFW and American Legion. Despite all the grief she received from her family that are Bears fans, Sharon loved rooting on the Packers. Playing cards and dice with her grandchildren also brought her much joy. Dressing up for the holidays in crazy outfits and being the life of the party was to be expected of her. Sharon was well known for her dramatic entrances quoting Minnie Pearl, with a "Howwwdy!" I'm sure those who knew her best can just close their eyes and imagine her making a dramatic entrance through the gates of heaven doing just that. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Richard; three children, Renee Musser, Rich Musser and Rochelle (Jason) Oelke; eleven grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. A luncheon and celebration of Sharon's and Richard's life will take place at Thunderbird Lanes, 1117 8th St., Baraboo, on Wednesday, April 17, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Baldwin Funeral Services, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
