Greg Glaser passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013 at the age of 59 after a brief battle with cancer. Greg was born on April 30, 1954 in Milwaukee, he was the son of Herbert and Eloise (Daugs) Glaser. After having a successful restaurant business in Pompano Beach, Fla., GreenOak Restaurant, Greg and Michelle moved to Baraboo in 1999 to raise their children near extended family. He founded the Wisconsin Home Mortgage Company in downtown Baraboo the same year. Greg was a devoted and loving father to his children. He leaves behind his wife, Michelle; four children, Tara, Kayla, Gregory, and Andrew Glaser; a brother, Gerald; and many other dear friends. Greg was preceded in death by his parents of LaValle. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 304 East St., in Baraboo, with Fr. Jay Poster officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ash Street Law for the family, P.O. Box 56, Baraboo, WI. 53913. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., in Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
