Lorraine Mary Voiles, 83, of Baraboo, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Lorraine was born at home on July 27, 1930 in Merrimac, the daughter of James and Clara (Schneider) Hein. On Feb. 28, 1948 she was united in marriage to Bernard D. Voiles in Baraboo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1986. Lorraine was a homemaker most of her life and took great joy in her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the West Baraboo Church of God. Survivors include her four children, Kathleen (Johnny Wright) Voiles, Richard Voiles, Mary (Ned) Seymour and Kenneth Voiles, all of Baraboo; four grandchildren, Andrea (Brent) Goerks, Kathleen (Kyle) Bernander, Clara Seymour and Trever Voiles, all of Baraboo; a brother, Monroe “Chub “ Hein of Baraboo; a sister, Estelle Stevens of Reedsburg; and many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by a sister, Virgina Brimmer; two brothers, Donald and James Hein; and an infant son. Private graveside services will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Merrimac. Memorials, if desired, may be given to the West Baraboo Church of God or to the family. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., in Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
