Mary Lou (Kent) Doro

Boone, Colo. - Mary Lou (Kent) Doro, age 82, of Boone, Colo., formerly of Baraboo, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the University Park Care Center in Pueblo. Mary Lou, the daughter of Lester and Genevieve (Newell) Kent, was born on March 15, 1931 in Baraboo. She was a graduate of Baraboo High School and had been employed at several manufacturing firms in the area. Some of which included; Industrial Coils, Flambeau Plastics, Badger Army Ordnance Ammunition Plant, and Rayovac of Portage, until her retirement in 1992. On Feb. 12, 1951, Mary Lou was united in marriage to Charles Doro at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baraboo. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1992. Mary Lou moved to Boone, Colo., in 1994 and enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, watching baseball and the Green Bay Packers. Survivors include her son, David (Rebecca) Doro of Chickasha, Okla.; two daughters, Kathleen (Michael) Przybyiski and Cynthia (Earl) York, both of Baraboo; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Olson of Mauston; sister-in-law, Marlene Kent of Baraboo; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Charles of 41 years, and her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by a son, Donald Claude; infant granddaughter, Sara Doro; granddaughter, Jessica Ann Doro; two brothers, William and Clayton; three sister-in-laws, Beverly Kent, Isa Mae Clark, and Ida Mae Hinz; five brother-in-laws, Melvin Olson, William, Richard, Robert, and Donald Doro. Funeral services will take place at 11 am. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 304 East St., in Baraboo, with Fr. Tim Renz officiating. Inurnment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials, if desired, may be given to the church. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., in Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
