Lettie "Sissy" Morales

Lettie “Sissy” Morales, 74 of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Lettie was born on Aug. 24, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Jimmy “Carl” and Anna Mae (Litteral) Butcher. On Aug. 24, 1985, Lettie was united in marriage to Antonio Morales, Jr. in La Valle. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 2014. Lettie was a homemaker most of her life and recently was a shuttle bus driver at Ho-Chunk Casino. She is survived by her four children, Kathy Tanner of Fresno, California, Debbie (Bill) Watts of Reedsburg, Brent Morales of Baraboo, Michael (Megan Conley) Morales of Baraboo; five very special grandchildren, Shelby, Mark, Bryanna, Blaedyn, Makoda; a special niece and nephew, Patricia and John Baldwin of Burnwell, West Virginia; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Lettie was preceded in death by a son, James “Jimmy” Tanner; five brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, with Pastor Amos Vande Hei officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
