Beverly J. Raymond, 65, of Baraboo, passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on Aug. 25, 2016. Beverly was born on Feb. 28, 1951 in Williston, North Dakota, to Betty and Douglas Amsbaugh. She grew-up in North Dakota and South Dakota and eventually made her home in Baraboo. She was an educator in the Baraboo and Sauk County school systems for many years and had recently retired. She loved working in her yard and tending her plants. She also enjoyed cooking and baking cakes. Beverly is survived by her son, James of Baraboo; her mother, Betty Amsbaugh of Rapid City, South Dakota; and her brother, James Amsbaugh of King George, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas; a sister, Elaine; and a brother, Dale. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Baraboo with Fr. Jay Poster officiating.
