Bill (WH) Johnson
Bill (WH) Johnson, of Baraboo, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday morning, May 31, 2015. Bill was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Oliver and Loraine (Gilmore) Johnson. He was united in marriage to Annette Hanger on Aug. 19 1995. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict as a Naval Aviator and achieved the rank of Lieutenant JG. He was employed with the Zenith Corporation for over 25 years. Bill enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Annette; children, Patricia (David) Thomas, Robert (Sylvia) Johnson, David (Pat) Johnson, Barbara Kahn; step-children, Josh (Misty) Hanger, Joseph (Anita) Hanger, Jason (Jessica) Hanger; grandchildren, Robert Jr. Johnson, Joshua and Sarah Thomas, Judy Ambrose, Tianda Deaver, Jamie, Jacob, John and Justin Hanger; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Ambrose, Sabrina Burgess and Caleb Johnson; extended family, Brian, Scott, Connie and John Dobush, and many other special friends . Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Visitation will take place from 11 am until time of services. Military rites will be performed by the Eagles Nest Detachment Marine Corps League.
