Thomas Fred Buelow

Lyndon Station - Thomas Fred Buelow, 69, of Lyndon Station, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his residence. Thomas was born on Sept. 10, 1945 in Baraboo, the son of Norton and Dorothy (Stieve) Buelow. He attended Baraboo High School and on June 21, 1990 he was united in marriage to Trudy Meyer at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo. Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1966 and served for two years before being honorably discharged. He was employed at Grede Foundry in the maintenance department for over 30 years. In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed the outdoors with hunting, fishing and teaching. He truly loved being around family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Trudy of Lyndon Station; two sons, Todd (Tracy) Buelow and Shane (Sarah) Buelow, all of Baraboo; daughter, Robin Lainhart of Burlington, Ky.; six grandchildren, Sara, Rachael, Samantha, Jordan, Kyle and George; two brothers, Dennis (Sharon) Buelow and Charles (Juanita) Buelow, all of Baraboo. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Rago- Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, with Pastor Nick Maglietto officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will be held in Walnut Hill Cemetery following the service. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
