Delores Jean (Paske) Schultz
Delores Jean (Paske) Schultz, 81, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. She was born on Nov. 15, 1933 in the Township of Caledonia, the daughter of August and Clara (Schueler) Paske. Delores married Russell Schultz in 1957 and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1991. In her younger years, she worked at the Lodi canning factory and after marrying Russell, Delores became a full time homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, reading, collecting recipes and articles, cooking, baking and gardening. Delores was an excellent canner and every summer she canned many fruits and vegetables. She liked flowers and when she planted a garden, it would include several different varieties. Delores especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Schultz and Brian Schultz; her daughter, Debra (James) Fawcett; four grandchildren, Darren (Sheila) Ringelstetter, David (Jackie) Ringelstetter, Ashley Schultz and Meghan Schultz; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Jacob and Emmett Ringelstetter; sister, Marion Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to parents and husband, Delores was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Arnold and infant, Kenneth Paske; and two sisters, Esther Geymann and Gladys Thompson. A special thanks to her son, Brian, for his devotion, love, and care giving for all the years he was there for her. Per Delores’s wishes, the family will hold a private service at a later date. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., in Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
