Brian C. Geick, 27, of Baraboo, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 following a valiant four year battle with leukemia. Born in Milwaukee, to Ed and Cherie (Laureys) Geick, he grew-up in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Brian was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed running, water skiing, scuba diving and football in particular. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and majored in marketing. He was a member of the Beta Epsilon Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at UW-Madison. Brian is survived by his mother and father; a sister, Laura; his great aunt, Barbara Campbell; and many uncles, aunts and cousins in Illinois and Wisconsin. Brian also has many friends from high school, college, work and his many adventures. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 starting at 2 pm at his parent’s house in Baraboo. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Leukemia Research Foundation or American Cancer Society in Brian’s name to help find a cure for this disease. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., in Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
